Chris purchased a lot, built a new residence from a home developer in La Quinta & moved his family to the desert in the summer of 2003 so his children could attend the (3) certified baccalaureate schools in the Desert Sands Unified School District – Amelia Earhart Elementary, John Glenn Middle School and La Quinta High School. The real estate market was taking off and growing rapidly here in the Coachella Valley and Chris wanted to be a part of that growth.
Chris is a family man with 2 teenage children and currently lives in La Quinta. His children attend La Quinta High School. His son Samuel, a sophomore, plays on the Blackhawks JV football team and his daughter Shelby is a senior “honors” student looking forward to being a freshman in college next year at UC Santa Barbara. He also has 2 canine children - Bella (Pug) and Ozzy (rescued Hound/Chihuahua Mix)
Chris is passionate about helping others. Helping others is in his blood either as a volunteer, sales trainer, coach or as a father. Family life, being a good dad & raising his children to become responsible grown ups someday is extremely important to Chris. Spending time with relatives & immediate family & pets, both at home or on vacation, is his #1 past time and brings him immense enjoyment. Chris loves family vacations, traveling abroad and hanging with his canine friends Bella and Ozzy.
Extreme sports are a year round passion for Chris. In the winter you might find him snowboarding at Mammoth Lakes or surfing along the southern California coast. He is also an avid deep sea fisherman in search of the “wicked” tuna or exotic ocean gamefish.
Chris has been trained and inspired by some of the best names in sales training from Tom Ferry, Hobbs/Herder, Anthony Robbins, Zig Ziglar and others. He has traveled and trained extensively to build strong relationships with banks, asset management companies and lending institutions so he can assist and help out sellers of distressed properties.
Chris has coached youth athletics for over a decade and has volunteered over the last 27 years with several noteworthy non-profit organizations, including Los Angeles County's G.A.P. (Gang Alternative Program), the Boys & Girls Club of America, and the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).
Chris uses his experience and foresight to proactively address situations before they become a problem. Chris is dedicated to promoting positive community and economic growth in our neighborhoods. Five words you can count on from Chris Workmon – hard work, integrity, commitment, love and passion.
